I am happy to teach you this hunger-free method of weight loss. I can meet with you one-on-one or host you and other clients in a small group setting. This will require three 2-hour sessions. Each session includes an hour presentation, food preparation demonstrations, food samples, and a question-and-answer period. You will also receive a packet of materials with resources, easy-to-make recipes, and critical tips for success. If you would like additional support following these 2 sessions, I am also available to assist you with shopping, to help you stock your cabinets, and to follow up with you on a regular, ongoing basis. I would be delighted to be a part of your support network on this journey.
As for my story, I learned about this program from a friend who is a retired physician. I have lost weight and have been able to effortlessly maintain my weight loss without hunger. I have also been able to avoid an otherwise necessary surgery by switching to this incredible health-promoting diet. My only regret is that I'm now 50, and I so wish that someone would have told me about this diet 35 years ago when I first started struggling with my weight. My weight was like a yo-yo, with me losing and gaining as much as 45 pounds. There were countless years when the only way I could keep my weight down was by consuming tiny calorie-restricted meals. I was hungry all the time! But no more!
My program is not unique and was not created by me. I have built it on the foundation that physicians like Dr. John McDougall and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn have already laid. Thousands of people have followed this healthy, science-based program with great success. Highly-acclaimed documentaries like Forks Over Knives have helped introduce thousands more to this amazing, life-transformative way of eating.
I am certified in Plant-Based Nutrition through eCornell, which is Cornell University's online program. I was a 2012 participant in Dr. John McDougall's 10-day live-in program in Santa Rosa, California. And, finally, I am a member of Julie Christensen's Protective Diet program.
